The Rat Race

Hi Guys!

Hope we are all gearing up for the weekend? As for me, its going to be a pretty tame weekend with me all lonesome at home. Ill catch up on house chores and relaxation and if 'paroles' come up,ill be sure to fall in.

Anyway my topic of consideration today is the rat race.Am sure we have all heard about the infamous rat race of life( not rat's in track & field events) but the never ending race we all unconscionably fall into the first day we hoist our school bags on our backs the first day in school. It starts from getting good grades in school,to entering the university at the right time ( nowadays its as young as fifteen) and finding the 'THE' job that puts you ahead of your peers for life. Its exhausting and it seems the TO DO list never ends.

For the Young ladies out there it seems the pressure just gets worse. What kind of cloths do you wear, where do you shop,where do you vacay. Do you have a boyfriend and if you do what does he do for a living? Does he have a car? if he does, what kind of car does he drive? Does he have his own apartment or does he still live with his parents? if he doesn't, where is his apartment located? is it fully furnished? It goes on and on to the most stupid of all ' what kind of fake hair do you have attached to your head?' The most painful of all is that it goes both ways. Men and Women are caught up in it and its no respecter of age.

So for my weekend ' NOT TO DO LIST' i will try my possible best not to fall under that spell of Materialism and say 'Screw y'all'( pardon the language) and just basically have fun with or without all the little gadgets that we all seem to depend  on for existence.
